That Was Fast... Good News, Bad News, Good News

First the good news -- our new shipping method is working great, and our latest batch arrived 11 days from roast, which was Feb 13th. Next time is should be even faster!

Unfortunately, this batch mostly sold out within an hour. Apologies to any folks that didn't see the email in time, and were unable to place an order. Given the increased batch size and frequency, I didn't expect it to sell out so quickly.

However, don't be disheartened because we have another batch that should arrive in approximately 2.5 weeks. This time, we're doubling the batch size. This is an enormous amount of coffee, and should prevent us from selling out so quickly....

The sudden surge in demand has been a challenge to predict, but we hope the momentum continues! If you love Saka coffee, please help us to spread the word!! Doubling our batch size is a big step toward keeping everything in stock while always keeping it as fresh as possible. Thanks to everyone who is ordering coffee -- we really appreciate it!! And thanks for your patience while we make the necessary adjustments to accommodate all of the new Saka lovers :)

Side note, if you haven't already, please sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of the home page. This is how we let folks know that a new batch is in stock (no spam, I promise).

As a long time fan of Saka and Cantina, I knew eventually it would be even more difficult to get than it became over time! You can probably attribute the recent uptick in sales to the fact YouTube coffee content creator, Lance Hedrick mentioned Saka coffee on a recent video he did about profecting the best Italian espresso shots. When I watched that, I was like, “Well, Saka was already difficult enough to get a hold of, now I’m screwed!” Lol!!!
