All of our coffee is freshly roasted in Naples Italy and express shipped to us. Our goal is to keep coffee in-stock at all times. However, demand can be unpredictable. Also, since it's a food product, FDA clearance is required during shipping. Usually this goes smoothly, but sometimes there are delays. Most in-stock coffee will have a roast date between 10-30 days ago, and is guaranteed to be within the past 60 days. In Stock orders typically ship within 24 hours.

Pre-Order Coffee:

If we are sold out of a particular coffee or if you would prefer to wait for the next batch, you can Pre-Order at any time. If you place a pre-order, we will fulfill your order from the next batch that arrives, even if we have it in stock at the time of your order. Typically, new batches arrive approximately every 2 weeks. In the unlikely event that the next batch of coffee sells out before we receive it, your pre-order order will ship from the subsequent batch. PLEASE DO NOT COMBINE 'IN-STOCK' AND 'PRE-ORDERS.' If you would like to order coffee that's in stock and also pre-order from the next batch at the same time, please place 2 separate orders because this will require 2 separate shipping charges.

Previous Batches Coffee:

Sometimes we order too much of a particular coffee blend, and we don't sell it within 2 months of the roast date. In these cases, we offer this coffee at a steep discount. This coffee tends to sell out quickly because it's still delicious despite the roast date. In fact, the overwhelming majority of Italian coffee available in the USA is shipped via ocean freight, so it's often 2 months from roast date before it even becomes available for sale, and you're still paying full price! Take advantage of these big discounts if you're not that picky about roast dates.

Coffee Subscriptions:  

If you would like to receive regular deliveries of your favorite coffee, please choose the subscription option when placing your order. Subscriptions are always shipped from the most recent batch of coffee, and small discounts also apply. Subscriptions are monthly or bi-monthly and can be easily modified at any time with a self service portal. For more info on subscriptions click here
